THE BRAVES LOSE A WILD GAME 5 OF THE DOHERTY DIVISION FINALS

The Brave’s offense was on display early in game 5 as they jumped out to a 4-0 in the 1st on goals from Donat, Yeck and Gerth with 2. The Firebirds would return the favour with 3 of their own in the 2nd making it a 4-3 game heading into the 3rd.  Both teams traded several chances in the 3rd, but it was only New Hamburg that was able to capitalize on their opportunities scoring 2 in the final frame to hand the Brave the 5-4 lose.
