Our History 1970 – PresentÂ
The Tavistock Braves are proud members of the Provincial Junior Hockey League Doherty Division of the Ontario Hockey Association.
Our division includes New Hamburg Firebirds, Woodstock Navy Vets, Wellesley Applejacks, Paris Titans, Hespeler Shamrocks and Norwich Merchants.
Our Hockey Club was founded in 1970 as a Jr. D hockey club, becoming a Jr. C hockey club in 2013.
The Braves have been League Champions in 1983 (WDJHL), 1987 (SJDHL), 2008 (SOJHL) and most recently in 2018 (PJHL Doherty Division).
Our 1983 Hockey Club was also All OHA Cup Champions!
