Two games for the Braves this weekend.
On Friday the Braves travelled to Norwich to take on the Merchants in a tight defensive match. Each team scored once in the 1st before their respective goalies took over the show shutting the door for the remaining 2 periods forcing OT. The Braves Otto would seal the 2-1 win beating the Norwich tender at the 5 min mark of OT. Scoring for the Braves was Fanjoy and Otto while Kernichan stopped 26 of 27 shots for the win.
On Saturday the Braves hosted the Woodstock Navy Vets in another tight game. The Vets scored one in the 1st and one in the second for a 2 -0 lead before the Braves Gerth scored to cut the lead to one. Unfortunately, that is as close as the Braves would get on this night losing to the Vet 2-1.
