The Braves improved their record to 18-4-1-2 over the weekend after winning 2 of 3 games.
The Burford Bulldogs were in town on Friday to take on the Braves. The Braves scored 1 in the first, 3 in the second and 2 in the third on their way to a 6-1 win. Scoring for the Braves was Van Boekel, Gerth (2), Helgerman (2) and Dionne with Pennington picking up the win between the pipes.
On Saturday the Braves traveled to Woodstock to take on the Navy Vets. The Braves scoring 2 in each of the frames was not enough as the Braves came up short losing 7-6. Scoring for the Braves was Helgerman, Bergmann, Suljak (2), Otto and Gerth.
On Sunday afternoon the Braves were on the road in Norwich to take on the Merchants. The Braves out shot the Merchants 56-28 scoring 3 in the first two periods and added 2 more in the third on their way to an 8-1 win. Scoring for the Braves was Gladding, Van Boekel, Donat (2), Glendinning, Gerth (2) and Suljak with Pennington picking up the win in goal.
The Braves next action will be on Jan 2 at 3:30 pm when they travel to Hespeler to take on Shamrocks.
