Weekend Recap

Only one game for the Braves this weekend as we welcomed the Woodstock Navy Vets to the Tavistock & District Rec. Centre on Friday evening for Halloween Night.

The 1st period was a back and forth affair before Ethan Sharpe pounced on the loose puck and banged it home to tally his 1st goal of the season. Nolan Brett evened the score up mid way through the 2nd frame before Carter Arseneau streaked in and buried a short handed goal to take back the lead. Tyler Brezynskie would then extend the lead just over a minute later sending us to the final period ahead by 2. Boyle-Ricupero would then find the back of the net on the powerplay 1:36 into the period. Brett would find his second of the game to tie it and send it to overtime. After a small scrum around the Vets net, a Carson Bernhardt shot made its way past Bouck and creeped over the line to end the game. Liam O’Leary picked up his 4th straight win.

The Braves next game is Saturday November 4th as we welcome the Norwich Merchants to Tavistock for a 7:30pm puck drop.
