Braves take 3 of 4 points as it was a weekend filled with Overtime.
On Friday evening the Paris Titans came to town. It was all Braves in the first period as goals from Bo Schurink (1) and Ryan Suljak (8) sent Tavi into the 2nd period ahead. Paris would get one back off the stick of Owen Lalonde (4) towards the final minutes of the period. Suljak (9) would restore the Braves two goal lead 0:13 seconds into the period. However, Brett Cowen (1) would respond quickly, and Carson Shannon’s (2) marker at the midway mark of the period would round out the scoring and send us to the extra frame. 7 minutes of 3 on 3 would be played, but neither team could find the back of the next.

Saturday Evening saw the Braves take a trip to Wellesley as the Applejacks opened up the newly built Wellesley Recreation Centre. The Jacks were also hosting Teddy Bear night, and it did not take long for Stuart Sinclair (3) to send the bears flying just 2 minutes in. Jacob Reid-Brant (6) would even things up just over 5 minutes into the 1st. We’d see no more scoring until Jake L’Heureaux (3) would open up the 2nd just 0:19 seconds into the period. Yianni Peppas (1) would once again even things and it would stay that way until the OT period. Here it was a Nic Thibodeau drop pass back to Andrew Van Boekel (3) who would beat Tyson Gustaw to send the Braves home with the extra point.
