BRAVES WIN GAME 3 IN OT

New Hamburg was in town on Saturday for game 3 of the Doherty Division Finals.  The Braves found themselves behind 1-0 early as the Firebirds capitalized on a loose puck just 8 seconds into the 1^st period.  3 minutes later the Braves Otto tied the game at 1 with his 1^st of the playoffs.  New Hamburg scored one more at the 11 min mark of the 1^st to give them a 2-1 lead heading into the 2^nd. The Braves Donut capitalized on a breakaway tying the game at 2 at the 10 min mark of the 2^nd.  Both teams traded chances in the 3^rd but were unable to beat the opposing goaltender.  The goaltenders continued their dominance in the overtime until the Braves Fanjoy’s seeing eye shot found the back of the net giving the Braves the 3-2 overtime win.
