FIREBIRDS WIN GAME 2 OF DIVISION FINALS

The Braves found themselves in a hole early as the Firebirds scored two unanswered goals in the 1st period giving them the 2-0 lead heading into the 2nd.  Both goalies battled hard in the 2nd leaving the score board unchanged heading into the 3rd.  New Hamburg added another early extending their lead to 3-0 before the Braves Vulgan would find the net closing the gap to 3-1. Unfortunately, this would be all the Braves had on this night as the Firebirds added an empty net goal late in the 3rd handing the Braves the 4-1 lose.
